Medical Consulting Group (MCG) is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to support payroll administration for MCG and multiple client organizations while assisting with select HR functions.

This position's primary focus is payroll processing, compliance, reporting, and payroll support across multiple entities. The role will also provide assistance with benefits administration, onboarding, recruiting, leave administration, and other HR projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process and support payroll for multiple companies and client groups.
  • Review and audit payroll data, time records, deductions, and employee changes for accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, and year-end activities.
  • Respond to employee and client payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with payroll tax administration, compliance activities, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide payroll backup coverage and support as needed.

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with employee onboarding and recruiting activities.
  • Support benefits administration and leave of absence processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
  • Assist with special projects and other HR-related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of two years of payroll processing experience.
  • Experience processing payroll for multiple entities, companies, or client groups.
  • Hands-on experience with Paycom.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to payroll accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting human resources functions such as benefits administration, onboarding, recruiting, or leave administration.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax requirements, wage and hour regulations, and payroll compliance.
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll reporting systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant payroll and/or human resources experience.
