We have an immediate opening for an HR Generalist in our Springfield, MO facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the HR Assistant to manage the recruitment and onboarding processes
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Address and resolve workplace conflicts, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
- Oversee the performance management system, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback
- Provide guidance to managers on employee development and overall performance
- Oversee employee discipline and termination processes
- Serve as the primary liaison between the local HR function and Corporate HR
- Identify training needs and collaborate with departments to provide relevant professional development opportunities and ensure timely completion
- Partner with Corporate HR and local leadership to maintain competitive pay structures and benefit offerings
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations
- Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements
- Process payroll for all MO employees and all company employees as needed
- Answer payroll and benefit related questions for employees
- Enroll newly eligible employees in benefits
- Attend and document all Safety Committee Meetings
- Administer FMLA & ADA programs
- Complete all required reporting for OSHA
- Participate in the safety training of employees
- Process UC claims and attend hearings when necessary
- Process WC claims
- Conduct exit interviews
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Must be proficient with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Organized

- Ability to meet deadlines
- Team oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
