Fiocchi of America, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the 

Fiocchi of America, Inc. headquartered in Ozark, MO has been producing ammunition for over 30 years. Our parent company, Fiocchi Munizioni, was established over 140 years ago in Italy.  We produce some of the highest quality shotshell and centerfire ammunition available.  While the company still has roots in Italy and receive a portion of our products from our facility in Lecco, Italy, around 80% of Fiocchi brand products that are sold in the US Market are loaded right here in Ozark and Little Rock, AR.   We offer excellent benefits including employer paid medical benefits for the employee, employer match retirement plan, paid time off plus paid holidays.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Recruit, pre- screen, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate in-person interviews for applicants while also managing job postings internally and externally
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees including new employee orientation and ensure a smooth transition into Fiocchi
  • Collaborate with departmental supervisors for staffing all vacancies and work closely with Plant Manager to ensure hiring needs are met
  • Ensure completion and proper filing in accordance with established guidelines such as I-9 forms, state and federal tax forms, new employee paperwork.
  • Provide assistance to employees on various HR related matters including policies, benefits, leaves, and assist with any personnel issues as they arise
  • Aid HR Manager with weekly payroll ensuring accuracy of time clock processes and leave requests
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings and terminations
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity by responsibly managing confidential and sensitive information, sharing on a need-to-know basis only
  • Maintain the enrollment of all employees in benefit coverage plans
  • Process and maintain all workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA, short term disability, and leave of absence paperwork
  • Handle monthly insurance invoices processing
  • Compile and report weekly and monthly KPI data
  • Responsible for collecting and recording data for training and meetings on the competency matrix and communication plan tracker

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of related experience in Human Resources
  • At least one year of labor relations and compliance experience

 

Knowledge/Skills:              

  • Strong time management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills are required
  • Strong organizational skillset is essential, with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, couples with outstanding interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of confidentiality is expected and required for this position
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with Missouri & Federal Labor Laws is essential
  • An understanding of payroll and benefit principles and practices is required.
